Human trafficking is a growing concern across Pennsylvania, and increasing awareness is one of the most effective ways communities can help prevent exploitation.

The Respect Life Committee at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Gettysburg is partnering with a nonprofit organization (She’s Somebody’s Daughter) to host a Human Trafficking Awareness Simulation and Presentation for the local community.

Although the event is being held at St. Francis Xavier, this is not a religious presentation and is open to anyone in the community. Our goal is simply to raise awareness and help protect as many people as possible by educating participants about the realities of human trafficking and how easily individuals — particularly young people — can become victims.

The program includes a guided simulation experience that helps participants understand how traffickers operate and how quickly situations can escalate. It is designed to be educational and eye-opening, helping people recognize warning signs and better protect themselves and others.

Free will offering is encouraged and donated to She's Somebody's Daugher, a 501(c)(3) public charity.  Additionally, hygiene items for trafficking survivors will be greatly appreciated.

Space is limited so please register with Suzanne at walkintheirshoes26@gmail.com by April 14th and ARRIVE EARLY.  Doors close at 2 pm.  Appropriate for everyone ages 13+.
