In collaboration with the American Legion Post 202, Mission of Mercy will provide free dental care (fillings, extractions, and dental hygiene) to veterans monthly at the American Legion beginning in June.
This important collaboration is bringing critical dental care directly to our veterans who don’t have dental care as part of their benefits.
Mission of Mercy’s state-of-the-art mobile dental clinic as well as the Mobile Medical Clinic will be onsite at the American Legion for tours.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to serve vulnerable people in Adams County with dignity, compassion, and Christ-centered love.
“Access to dental care remains one of the most significant unmet health needs for uninsured peopleaid Jennifer White, Executive Director of Mission of Mercy. “The need for dental care continues to grow. Mission of Mercy is extremely grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the American Legion on this special initiative—It makes sense: we bring our mobile dental clinic and our dedicated volunteer dental professionals, and we can provide dental services on-site at the American Legion for our local veterans.
Untreated dental issues can cause chronic pain, infection, difficulty eating, and long-term health complications—barriers that often compound the challenges faced by individuals already struggling to meet basic needs. By bringing care directly.
Mission of Mercy has provided free medical and dental care for more than 30 years, launching its mobile dental clinic in December 2018 to reach underserved communities throughout Maryland. Its mission is to restore dignity and healing through Love by providing free healthcare.
