 | Our annual 5K Race/Walk aims to raise funds for the Bruce A. Hollabaugh Memorial Endowment Fund. The course runs throughout our beautifully blooming orchards on the family farm.
Our 4th Generation family farm has been growing apples since 1955! In March of 2022, our family and farm was turned upside down when we unexpectedly lost third generation family member, Bruce, at the age of 41. Production manager at Hollabaugh’s, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend: he had numerous titles, but despite the many hats he wore, he always found time to support his community, too. Since his passing, the Hollabaugh family has adopted the mantra “For Bruce, We Will Farm.” We also wanted to continue his legacy in the community and in all the areas he was so passionate about in life. Bruce’s parents, Brad and Kay, started the Bruce A. Hollabaugh Memorial Endowment Fund* earlier this year. Managed by the Adams County Community Foundation, the fund will benefit the charities and community initiatives for which Bruce cared deeply during his life. Net proceeds from the race will benefit the Endowment Fund. Make plans to join us as a runner or walker and help to support many good causes and organizations throughout the Upper Adams Community and beyond.
