We have been a family owned and operated business in Hanover, PA, since 1852. Founded by Henry Schmuck, a predominate community leader, we primarily sold lumber and coal. Over the years, we have grown to include other products including: windows, roofing materials, plywood, drywall, hardware, and much more.
Today, Schmuck Lumber Company is still independently owned and continues to grow. A new showroom and warehouse demonstrate the commitment to serving our customers. In the tradition started by the company’s founder, our philosophy is to offer quality, brand-name products, an unequaled professional sales force, and a friendly atmosphere where customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
Schmuck not only sells building materials. We also install them. Not only is this convenient to some of our customers, it also helps the rest of our staff stay current with the pros and cons of the items we sell. You can bet that we only use the products that we can depend on.
